Hi Allessandro. Nice cookbook. Unfortunately from sample I spotted that there is no useful info about ChargeBack which I wanted to find there before ordering it. ChargeBack mentioned in book is about Operations Manager 2012 but from SP1 this ChargeBack report is removed so there is no easy guide how to get chargeback without installing another XYZ servers (SCSM) to get ChargeBack functioning. Is this theme described in the book more deeply or should I search for another book about ChargeBack in SCVMM 2012 R2? I found nothing.
I mean without installing Service Manager which we don’t need, only chargeback reports, with minimal or no additional server requirements when we already using SCVMM, SCOM and SCAC 2012 R2.
Somewhere I read chargeback can be added via Azure Portal but there is no deeper or official info about it how to make it to work.
    Many thanks

I don’t cover Charge Back Reports in my book.
For chargeback specifically, you will need Service Manager which uses information discovered from the Operations Manager CI connector about the Virtual Machine Manager fabric.
SO, my recommendation is for you to look at a good Service Manager 2012 R2 book

Thanks Alessandro. So I was right there is no other way how to get Chargeback without SCSM? I read some posts about the way to do it with help of Azure Pack but I am not sure it is similar to results from SCSM. It is shame this report was removed from R2 at days when customers connects on-premise and Azure environment together without the need to install another huge pack as SCSM is, only for using ChargeBack:(
Anyway thanks for info that, in any other aspects, your great book doesn’t include it.
Will continue to search for it in SCSM water if it is only way from R2 update.
        Thanks!
